Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the solar calendar at solar.dealmobile.co.uk, its calendar feed and its badge. The site is run by Deal Mobile (“we”). By using the site you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use it.

Using the site

The site is free. You may use it, subscribe to its calendar feed and show its badge on your own pages, for personal or business purposes.

Please don’t use it in a way that harms it or other people: for example, by sending large numbers of automated requests, trying to get round its security, or using it for anything unlawful. We may block access that does.

The source code and content

The calendar is free software. Its source code, month name packs and holiday data are on GitHub under the GNU General Public License version 3, which lets you use, change and share them on its terms. The fonts are under the SIL Open Font License.

No guarantee

We provide the site as it is, and we may change, pause or stop it at any time without notice. We try to keep it accurate and working, but we don’t promise that it will be either. See the disclaimer for what to check before relying on it.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on it, including dates, holidays or times that turn out to be wrong. If you use the site for a business, we aren’t liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or data.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law doesn’t allow to be limited. If you use the site as a consumer, these terms don’t affect your legal rights.

Other sites

The site links to others, such as GitHub, Google Calendar and the sources for each set of month names. We aren’t responsible for what they contain or how they work.

Privacy

The privacy policy explains what happens to your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version here. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.
